Overview
NotepadLLM (notepadllm.com) is a browser-based writing editor built around an AI humanizer. Alongside the rewriter it includes an in-editor assistant called Mochi, invisible-watermark and curly-quote stripping, word-level change diffs, live Markdown and LaTeX preview, and PDF export. A basic editor works without an account; the stronger humanizer and personalization sit behind a paid Pro plan.
The humanizer
The vendor describes the humanizer as rewriting the patterns detectors flag (uniform sentence length, repeated sentence shapes, instruction-tuned phrasing) while keeping meaning, facts, numbers, names, and voice intact. Users pick the writing situation to target; Pro adds control over how hard it pushes, from a single pass to a multi-stage cross-model pipeline, plus style-matching from an uploaded sample of the user’s own writing. Its effectiveness against specific detectors such as GPTZero or Turnitin is a vendor description we have not tested.
Pricing
The basic editor is free and needs no account. Using the humanizer requires an account, which is free to create, while the stronger humanizer, style-matching, assistant editing, and the API sit on a paid Pro plan at roughly $8 per week or $29 per month, plus usage-based pricing for the HTTP API. Summary
NotepadLLM packages an AI humanizer inside a browser editor with change tracking, watermark scrubbing, and export tools. A basic tier is free, while the stronger humanizer, style-matching, assistant editing, and API are paid Pro and require an account. Its detector performance is a vendor description we have not independently verified.
