Phrasly
An entry in the Humanizer Wiki directory of AI humanizers.
Strengths
- Named company (Phrasly LLC) with public founders
- Marketed with "unlimited" humanization tiers rather than word caps
- Bundles AI writing tools and a detection-bypass feature
Limitations
- Marketed for evading academic checkers, which raises integrity concerns
- Vendor "3 million users" and bypass claims are unverified by us
- Free plan is small and nudges toward annual billing
Overview
Phrasly (phrasly.ai), operated by Phrasly LLC, is a freemium AI humanizer and writing assistant founded in 2023 (public founders include Victor Rijo, Andrew Hoang, and Daniel Piekarczyk). It combines an AI writer, an AI detector, and a humanization/“detection bypass” feature, and its marketing is aimed squarely at students. The vendor states it serves over 3 million users; we record that as a company claim.
Claims and pricing
Phrasly is marketed as able to humanize AI text with “advanced AI detection bypass” so it passes automated checkers. That is a vendor claim, not an established fact, and its student-facing positioning sits uneasily with the academic-integrity messaging the company also publishes. Detector performance is content- and settings-dependent and shifts as detectors update; we do not assert any bypass rate as fact.
On pricing, Phrasly offers a free plan (around 550 humanization words plus a few writing credits). Its paid “Unlimited” plan is advertised from roughly $10.99/mo when billed annually (with monthly billing higher, around $19.99/mo), offering unlimited humanizations, a monthly cap on AI-writer generations, and a per-process word limit. A separate business API is priced per 1,000 words. Confirm current numbers on the Phrasly site.
Summary
Phrasly is a freemium, student-focused humanizer and writing suite from a named company with an “unlimited” pricing angle. Its “advanced detection bypass” and large-user-base claims are vendor marketing and remain unverified pending our own testing.
